Kayla
Singer/Songwriter

At the ripe age of four, Kayla developed her own, daily routine of sitting in front of the radio and mimicking her favorite singers' Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Taylor Dane, to name a few. When Kayla turned 11, she decided to do more than mimick; she joined her 6th grade chorus. She performed with school choruses every year thereafter and finally joined the reputable All City Chorus. As an All City Chorus member, Kayla Sanchez has performed at Lincoln Center, the McGraw Hill building, and with the highly regarded Harlem Boys Choir.

But Kayla wanted more. And more meant going solo. By the time she hooked up with the dynamic duo of Aaron Hamilton and Bernard Hawkins of HamHawk Productions, she had become a seasoned solo performer at Caroline's on Broadway and numerous talent shows. With the backing of HamHawk Productions, she has not only developed into a singer who captivates audiences with her voice but also as a lyricist who mesmerizes them with her words.

When asked about her goals as an artist, Kayla responds, "When I leave this earth, I want to leave behind the legacy of my music that will soothe the souls of not only the people who once were my peers, but also, those who are the children of my fans."
